Between 1993 and 1998 Ryan travelled around Britain competing against the highest-level competitors, by this time Ryan was showing an extremely high level of skill and decided to make this his full time future career.

1998 saw Ryan running away with the YMSA Championship and of his confidence and success he decided to enter the Sheffield Supercross but had a serious accident resulting in both legs being broken and time out from the world of Motocross for 7 months

Ryan entered the British National Schoolboy MX Championships on a KX85cc machine in 2001. Ryan rode in various events abroad including Holland, France, Belgium and Spain and on his free weekends he competed in his local YMSA events. He rode at Sheffield Arena in October and finished 5th in the final in front of a capacity crowd.

2004 saw Ryan training harder than ever and eventually he made his professional debut and resulting in 3rd in the amateur British supercross championship even though he has missed one round due to injury and then missed the season.

2005, so far Ryan is lying 3rd in the super cross and is really confident that he was going to win the Championship

2006 Ryan competed in various events around Europe where he scoured good points and made a statement that he will be definitely one to watch.

Plans for 2007 are training all winter around Europe for a motivated start to the Maxxis British Championship, under 21s, KWS and also local Club Championships.

Ryan's ambition is to attain the highest level in his chosen sport and to make Professional Motocross riding his career.
With continuing help and dedication of his back up team and sponsors Ryan will achieve this goal!
